- The Promotion. The YES Kasi Up x Shopee RM1 SIM Plan Promotion (“Promotion”) is a time-limited promotion organized by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (“YTLC”) in collaboration with Shopee Mobile Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Shopee”).
- Eligibility. All Shopee users who wish to purchase the YES Kasi Up x Shopee RM1 SIM Plan on Shopee and register as YES subscribers are eligible to participate the Promotion (“Eligible Subscribers”).
- Applicable Terms and Conditions. Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Promo T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions and YES Prepaid Kasi Up LTE SIM Plan Terms and Conditions available at www.yes.my/tnc shall remain valid and applicable to this Promotion (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Promo T&Cs, these Promo T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions.
- Promotion Period. The Promotion will commence on 18th December 2020, 12:00 a.m. and continue until further notice (“Promotion Period”).
- The Promotion. The service offering under the Promotion will be as follows:-
5.1 the YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan is only available on Shopee for RM1.
5.2 each Eligible Subscriber may only purchase one (1) YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan at RM1; all subsequent purchase(s) will be at the retail price of RM15 each.
5.3 the YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan consists of a SIM Card with the following:
a) a YES Mobile Number;
b) 10GB LTE Data;
c) unlimited On-Net calls and SMS;
d) 30 days Account Validity Period from the date of service activation. - Activation of YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan. 6.1 The YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan must be activated within a period of six (6) months from the issuance of the same failing which the YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan can no longer be activated and no replacement will be provided.
6.2 Upon receipt of the YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan, the Eligible Subscriber must activate the YES Kasi Up Prepaid SIM Plan via the YES self-registration application (eKYC) by the following steps:
a) Download the MyYes app. Open the app and click on “New User”.
b) Click on “Activate Sim” and then on “Start”
c) Scan the barcode found on the back of the SIM jacket or manually input the SIM serial number.
d) Accept the assigned phone number or switch to Yes. If you choose to switch, input your existing number and verify to Switch to Yes.
e) Complete your activation by following the steps on-screen to perform an eKYC (phone number, personal details) and verify your ID.
f) Once you have completed the verification, you will receive a confirmation message on your activation. - Refund. No refund is allowed on any unactivated YES Kasi Up Prepaid Sim Plan.
- Limitation of Liability. YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Promotion.
- Laws. This Promotion shall in all respect be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
- Modifications. YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of the Promotion, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion at any time before or during the Promotion Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
