Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan one (1) month of Free Internet Promotion

  1. The Promotion.
    The Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan one (1) month of Free Internet (“Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan”) Promotion (“Promotion”) is a time limited promotion launched by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (Company No. 200701035605 (793634-V)) (“YTLC”) in collaboration with Shopee Mobile Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (“Shopee”). By Your subscription or use of any of the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan, You acknowledge that You understand these Promotion T&Cs (as defined below) and agree to abide by them.
  2. Eligibility.
    The Promotion is open all existing and new (“Eligible Subscribers”) who satisfies the following pre-conditions:-
    a) Malaysian individual with a valid MyKad/MyPR or My Tentera who are 18 years and above of age; and
    b) Shopee user who wish to purchase the Yes Infinite Postpaid Service Plan on Shopee;
  3. Applicable Terms and Conditions.
    Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Promotion T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Postpaid Service Terms and Conditions, Postpaid Service Plans Terms and Conditions, Yes Infinite Postpaid Service Plans Programme Terms and Conditions and Infinite Supplementary Line Service Plan Terms and Conditions available at yes.my shall remain valid and applicable to this Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and the Promotion T&Cs, these Promotion T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions.
  4. Promotion Period.
    The Promotion commences on 14th October 2022, 00:00 a.m. until 15th November 2022 (“Promotion Period”).
  5. The Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan & Service Offerings.
    The offerings under Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan are as follows:
    5.1 Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan is only available on Shopee .
    5.2 Each Eligible Subscriber may only purchase one (1) Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan at RM0; all subsequent purchase(s) will be at the retail price of RM58 each. There shall only be one (1) MyKad per Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan upon SIM activation.
    5.3 For any duplication orders received from the same phone number via Shopee, an SMS will be sent to notify each Eligible Subscriber on the cancellation of the purchase and such purchase will be cancelled
    5.4 The Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan consists of a 5G-enable SIM Card with the following:
    a) a Yes Mobile Number;
    b) Unlimited LTE Data;
    c) Unlimited On-Net and Off-Net calls;
    d) Unlimited On-Net Service of domestic SMS
    e) 20GB Hotspot
    f) Waiver for 1st month of Monthly Commitment Fee from the date of service activation only (please refer to the Promotion T&Cs herein for the other applicable charges)
    5.5 Under Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan, an Eligible Subscriber will be able to enjoy a waiver of one (1) month Monthly Commitment Fee (“1 Month Commitment Fee”) of the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan with effect from the Service activation date (“Free Internet Period”). If, however, the Monthly Commitment Fee under the 1st Bill is based on a pro-rated sum (“Pro-rated Commitment Fee”), the Pro-rated Commitment Fee will also be waived.
    5.6 Except for the waiver of the Pro-rated Commitment Fee and 1 Month Commitment Fee during the Free Internet Period, charges will be imposed on any products and/or Services subscribed or used by such Eligible Subscriber, including any applicable deposit sum, in accordance with the applicable rates as more specifically stated in Our official website @ www.yes.my/tnc.
    5.7 After the waiver of the Pro-rated Commitment Fee and 1 Month Commitment Fee during the Free Internet Period, the Eligible Subscriber will be charged the Monthly Commitment Fee under the service offering for Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan (as stated in the table below) and in the event such Eligible Subscriber walk in to Yes Store for termination, he/she will be subject to Postpaid Service Plan Terms and Conditions.
    5.8 During the waiver of Pro-rated Commitment Fee and 1 Month Commitment Fee period of Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan, an Eligible Subscriber is not allowed to port out their number.
    5.9 The waiver of Pro-rated Commitment Fee and 1 Month Commitment Fee of Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan will only be reflected on the next bill cycle after the waiver.Service Offerings
    5.10 The service offerings under the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan are:

    *For other applicable service charges (Off-Net Service of domestic SMS, IDD, Roaming and/or Non-Toll Free Numbers) during the waiver for 1st month, the Eligible Subscriber is required to pay the deposit and/or to increase credit limit via MyYes app. (please refer to the Promotion T&Cs herein for the other applicable charges).

    5.11 You may subscribe to one Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan per MyKad/MyPR/ MyTentera provided always that You do not have, in aggregate, more than six (6) Postpaid Service Plans registered with Us.
    5.12 When You subscribe to the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan, You will receive a 5G enabled SIM card (“SIM Card”). To enjoy the 5G services, You are required to insert the SIM Card into a compatible Device. Please visit www.yes.my/supported-devices to determine which of the Device supports the 5G-enabled SIM Card.
    5.13 You must perform a one-time activation of the SIM Card within thirty (30) days from the date You received the SIM Card (“SIM Activation Period”). If You fail to activate the SIM Card within the SIM Activation Period, after the expiry of the SIM Activation Period, Your SIM Card will expire automatically and Your Service account will be terminated accordingly. In such instance, any payment made by You, including the Monthly Commitment Fee and any deposit, shall be automatically forfeited and no refund shall be made to You.
    5.14 The service offerings of 5G internet speed under the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plans depends fully on the 5G network coverage in such area and/or locations.
    5.15 If You have fully utilised the Hotspot Data Capacity Allocation under the respective Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan before the expiry of the relevant Billing Cycle, You may purchase a Postpaid Data Add-On to enjoy internet data with no speed control. For clarity, any mention on speed shall mean the optimum speed which means the actual speed enjoyed by You may vary depending on various other factors including but not limited to technical and environmental factors.
    5.16 The unlimited On-Net Services of voice calls and SMS, and Off-Net Services of voice calls are exclusive for Your use in Malaysia only and applicable for communications between person-to-person personal use and not commercial use. Therefore, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication (including by using Your SIM Card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activities are considered non-standard usage and is therefore prohibited.

  6. Activation of Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan.
    6.1 The Eligible Subscriber must activate the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan via Yes self-registration application (eKYC) by the following steps;a) Download the MyYes app. Open the app and click on “New User”.
    b) Click on “Activate SIM” and then on “Start”
    c) Scan the barcode found on the back of the SIM jacket or manually input the SIM serial number.
    d) You may Switch to Yes or select a Number by clicking “See More” for preferred number selection. If you choose Switch to Yes, key in your existing number and click “Verify”.
    e) Complete your activation by following the steps on-screen to perform an eKYC (phone number, personal details) and verify your ID.
    f) You will have an option to save your credit card. If you choose to do so, key in your credit card details and complete the verification steps.
    *If You choose to save your credit card details, you will be automatically charge at the end of the billing cycle provided subject to Auto Billing Terms and Conditions.
    g) Once you have completed the verification, you will receive a confirmation message on your activation.
  7. Refund.
    No refund is allowed on any inactivated Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan.
  8. Charges & SST
    8.1 Save as expressly provided herein, there will be no additional charges imposed on domestic On-Net Service of voice calls and SMS and domestic Off-Net Service of voice calls. However, the following charges will be imposed on domestic Off-Net Service of SMS:

    8.2 Charges will be imposed for all International Roaming Service and IDD Service in accordance with the voice calls and SMS rates published @www.yes.my/roaming.
    8.3 For clarity, charges will apply for voice calls to special and toll free numbers, including but not limited to those numbers listed below:

    8.4 The charges stated in this Clause 8 are exclusive of SST.

  9. Termination.
    Subject to the termination conditions stipulated in our Postpaid Service Terms and Conditions, You can terminate the Yes Infinite Discover Postpaid Service Plan by issuing to YTLC a notice in YTLC prescribed format and supported by all required relevant documents for verification.
  10. Limitation of Liability.
    YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Promotion T&Cs.
  11. Laws.
    This Promotion shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia under the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
  12. Modifications.
    YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of the Promotion, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to You or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend the Promotion at any time before or during the Promotion Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
