- The Campaign.
The “Yes x myNEWS Rewards Campaign” (“Campaign”) is a time limited campaign launched by YTL Communications Sdn. Bhd. (“YTLC”) (Company No. 200701035605 (793634-V)) operating under the brand name “Yes” in collaboration with MYNEWS RETAIL SDN. BHD. (199401020616 (306295-X)) (“myNEWS”) and shall be governed by these terms and conditions (“Campaign Terms”). - Campaign Period.
The Campaign will commence on 1st June 2025 and shall end on 31st August 2025 (“Campaign Period”). - Campaign Eligibility.
This Campaign is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia aged 12 years and above provided that the individual does not have, in aggregate, more than five (5) prepaid service accounts with Yes (“Customers”). - Terms and Conditions.
Save as expressly varied and set out herein, all such terms and conditions as stipulated in the Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Data Add-On Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Hotspot Add-On Terms and Conditions, Yes Reload Terms And Conditions, Yes Mobile App Terms and Conditions and Yes First To 5G Campaign Terms and Conditions and all such applicable terms and conditions published on www.yes.my/docs/tnc (collectively referred as “General Terms and Conditions”) shall remain valid and incorporated to these Campaign Terms as if the General Terms and Conditions are stated in full herein. In the event of any conflict or inconsistencies between the General Terms and Conditions and these Campaign Terms, these Campaign Terms shall prevail only to the extent to resolve any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to them in the General Terms and Conditions. - RM5 Yes Credit.
5.1 To receive the RM5 Yes Credit, the Customer must, during the Campaign Period, purchase a Yes FT5G 30 Prepaid SIM Card Pack (“Service Plan”) at any myNEWS and SUPERVALUE outlet in Malaysia and activate the SIM Card, subject to the terms outlined in Section 5.2 hereto.
5.2 The RM5 Yes Credit:
(a) is limited to the first RM10,000.00 distributed, on a first come, first served basis;
(b) will be credited automatically to the Customer’s prepaid service account following successful activation of the SIM Card;
(c) is not exchangeable for cash;
(d) can be used to purchase Data Add On(s) and Yes Service(s) on the MyYes app; and
(e) does not extend the Account Validity Period for the Service Plan, which shall for the avoidance of doubt be sixty (60) days from the SIM Card activation date.
5.3 To be entitled to the RM5 Yes Credit, the SIM Card for the Service Plan must be activated in accordance with Section 6 hereto before the expiry of the Campaign Period. - SIM Activation.
6.1 The Customer is required to activate the SIM Card through the MyYes app. This one-time activation of the Yes SIM is mandatory and shall be carried out within thirty (30) days from the date of registration of the Service Plan, failing which the SIM Card will be deactivated without notice to the Customer, and no replacement of the SIM Card will be provided. - Service Usage.
7.1 To enjoy 5G services by Yes, the Customer is required to use devices that are compatible with the SIM Card. Please visit www.yes.my/supported-devices/ to determine which devices support the SIM Card.
7.2 The Customer may enjoy the service offerings with uncapped 5G and/or 4G speed (however, the internet speed will vary depending on whether the Customer is in the area with 5G or 4G coverage).
7.3 The unlimited On-Net Services is available only for usage in Malaysia only and applicable for communications between person-to-person personal use and may not be used for any other purposes, including but not limited to: monitoring services, transmission of broadcast, transmission of recorded material, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuously call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication or other commercial uses, Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activities which do not consist of person-to-person use between individuals. - Charges.
8.1 Save as expressly provided herein, there will be no additional charges imposed on domestic On-Net Service of voice calls and SMS and domestic Off-Net Service of voice calls. However, the following charges will be imposed on domestic Off-Net Service of SMS:Type of Off Net Services Rates (RM) SMS RM 0.09/SMS 8.2 Charges will be imposed on Customer’s use of all IDD Service in accordance with the internet, voice calls and SMS rates published @www.yes.my/roaming.

YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of this Campaign, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Customers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this Campaign at any time before or during the Campaign Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever. By participating in this Campaign, the Customer agree that there shall be no claim against YTLC for any and all loss or damage suffered or incurred by the Customer as a direct or indirect result of the act of cancellation, termination or suspension of the Campaign. - Waiver.
No failure or delay by YTLC in exercising any right or remedy provided by law under or pursuant to these Campaign Terms shall impair such right or remedy or operate or be construed as a waiver or variation of it or preclude YTLC exercise at any subsequent time and no single or partial exercise of any such right or remedy shall preclude any other or further exercise of it or the exercise of any other right or remedy. YTLC’s rights and remedies under or pursuant to these terms and conditions are cumulative, may be exercised as often as deem appropriate and are in addition to YTLC’s rights and remedies under general law. - Refund.
There shall be no refund in respect of the Service Plan as well as products, goods and/or Services subscribed or used by the Customer for any reasons whatsoever. - Severability.
If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, then such provision shall (so far as it is invalid or unenforceable) be given no effect and shall be deemed not to be included in these Campaign Terms without invalidating any of the remaining provisions of these Campaign Terms. - Limitation of Liability.
(a) By participating in this Campaign, the Customer agrees and irrevocably and unconditionally undertakes to absolve YTLC of all liabilities and further agrees to indemnify YTLC on indemnity basis and hold YTLC harmless against any claim (including any third party claims) and against any loss, damage, cost or expense (including legal fees and costs) that YTLC may suffer or incur as a result of or in connection with this Campaign.
(b) YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with these Campaign Terms.
(c) To the fullest extent permitted by law, YTLC and its respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, licensees, directors, officers, employees, agents and independent contractors hereby expressly excludes and disclaims any representations, warranties, or endorsements, express or implied, written or oral, including but not limited to, any warranty of quality, merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose of enjoyment of the service offerings under this Campaign. - Laws.
These Campaign Terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
