  1. What is the LTE Proton Prepaid Plan?
    We have partnered with Proton to deliver the first in-car Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and 4G LTE Internet experience in Malaysia. All Proton customers who purchase selected model of Proton cars during the Promotion Plan Period (as defined below) will be provided a LTE Proton Prepaid Plan and one (1) unit of Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone package as a bundled promotion, allowing such customers to experience world class internet connectivity and next generation HD voice calls with faster call connections.
  2. What do eligible Proton car owners get under this plan?
    • A free Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone package inclusive of a Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone, a Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone car holder, a USB cable, a wall charger, a battery and a car charger for the Yes Altitude 4G LTE smartphone.
    • A free 4G LTE Prepaid SIM card with a pre-assigned Yes Number.
    • A pre-assigned Yes Prepaid ID.
    • 16GB of 4G LTE Data per month for a period of 12 months.
    • Free unlimited Yes-to-Yes Calls and SMS.
    • 12 months of Active Period from Account Activation Date.
  3. What is the promotion period of this plan?
    This promotion will commence from 14 January 2017 until 30 July 2017.
  4. Who is eligible for the LTE Proton Prepaid Plan?
    Customers who purchase selected new Proton cars (refer FAQ no.5) from an authorised Proton Outlets during the promotion period are eligible for this plan.
  5. What are the selected Proton models eligible for the FREE LTE Proton Prepaid Plan?
    Selected Proton models means and includes all Proton car models except for the Proton car in 1.3L engine variants and the Proton car purchased for use as taxis.
  6. Upon activation, how long will my account be active?
    Your account will remain active for 12 months upon activation. After that, you will be charged RM1/day of account validity. For example, a reload of RM30 will give you 30 days of account validity.
  7. How do I get my monthly 16GB data?
    Monthly data will be given based on account activation date. For example, if the account activation date falls on 15 January, that means every 15th of the month (for the next 12 months), you will receive 16GB data.
  8. How do I monitor my usage?
    You can monitor your account balance and data usage online through My Account or via the MyYes4G app (available on Google Play) by using your Yes ID and password to login.
  9. Where do I get my Yes ID and Password to access My Account?
    Upon collecting your new Proton car, the Proton sales person will assist you in activating your LTE Proton Prepaid Plan.
    Upon successful activation, you will receive your Yes ID and Password via SMS and Email.
  10. What happen if I do not fully utilise my data allocation?
    Your data allocation will be forfeited at the end of each 30-day data validity period.
  11. Am I able to make calls? And what are the Call and SMS rates?
    Yes, you are able to make calls like a normal prepaid account. To make calls to other networks, please ensure that you have sufficient credit in your account to make calls/send SMS. To reload your account with Yes Credits, kindly refer to FAQ no.12.
    The rates for the LTE Proton Prepaid Plan are as follow:
    • Calls and SMS within the Yes network: Free Unlimited.
    • Calls and SMS to other networks: RM0.09 per min/SMS.
  12. Where can I reload my LTE Proton Prepaid Plan?
    You can reload at any Yes Stores/Kiosks , participating Yes Retail Partners and participating banks.

  13. How does Reloading work for this plan?
    For this plan, Reload is for the purpose of:-
    • Making calls and sending SMS to other networks.

  14. Can I use other smartphone to insert the Yes 4G SIM card?
    Yes, as long as the smartphone is compatible with the Yes 4G LTE network. Please click here to check your phone compatibility.
  15. Previously, I saw a Proton-Huddle XS “1st 4G Car in Malaysia” Promotion Program (“Proton Huddle XS Plan”). Is the promotion still valid?
    No, Proton Huddle XS Plan is valid until 13 January 2017. From 14 January 2017 onwards, the promotion plan is the LTE Proton Prepaid Plan.

  17. Is there a warranty on the Yes Altitude 4G LTE Smartphone? Where do I go to if I encounter technical issues with the phone within the warranty period?
    Yes. The Yes Altitude 4G LTE Smartphone comes with a 12-month warranty period from the date of purchase. Click here for e-Warranty registration.

    We have partnered with Proton to deliver the first integrated 4G experience for cars in Malaysia! All eligible Proton cars will now come equipped with a Yes Huddle XS 4G Mobile Hotspot device that connects up to 5 Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
  2. What do eligible Proton car owners get under this plan?
    • A free Yes 4G Huddle XS Package inclusive of a Yes 4G Huddle XS, a Yes 4G Huddle XS holder, a USB cable, a wall charger and a car charger for Yes 4G Huddle XS.
    • A free pre-assigned Yes Prepaid ID and Yes Number.

  3. How do I get the free monthly RM60 Yes Rebate?
    Your RM60 Yes Rebate is automatically credited to your Yes account each month.
  4. What can I do with RM60 Yes Rebate?
    It can be used on a Pay-As-You-Use (PAYU) basis at an affordable rate of 3 sen/MB (equivalent to 2GB) for streaming music and videos, online gaming, and surfing the internet.
