Learn From Home Free Phone Retention Campaign

  1. The Campaign
    The Learn From Home Free Phone Retention Campaign (“LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign”) is a time-limited campaign by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (“YTLC”).
  2. Eligibility
    This LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign is open to all subscribers of the Learn From Home Free Phone Plan (“Eligible Subscriber”).
  3. Campaign Terms Acceptance
    Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Campaign T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Learn From Home Free Phone Initiative Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions and Yes 4G LTE Prepaid Plan Terms and Conditions available at www.yes.my/tnc shall remain valid and applicable to this LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign (collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Campaign T&Cs, these Campaign T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions.
  4. Campaign Period
    This LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign will commence on 27th August 2021 and continue until 31st August 2022 (“Campaign Period”).
  5. Entitlement under the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign
    5.1 An Eligible Participant participating in the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign is entitled to:-

    1. free 5GB LTE Data; and
    2. free 60 minutes Off-Net Voice Calls

      for a service validity period of thirty (30) days each cycle during the Campaign Period (“Service Validity Period”), subject to Clauses 5.2 and 5.3 below (“Service Validity Period”).
      (The offerings under the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign stated in Clauses 5.1(a) and (b) above shall be collectively referred to as the “Free Data and Voice Calls”).

    5.2 For the 1st month of an Eligible Subscriber’s participation in the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign, the Free Data and Voice Calls will be automatically credited into his/her Prepaid account:-

    1. In the case of an Eligible Subscriber selecting the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign during his/her Account Validity Period, upon expiry of the Internet data allocated under the Learn From Home Free Phone Plan; or
    2. in the case of an Eligible Subscriber selecting the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign after expiry of the Account Validity Period but within the Grace Period, a day succeeding the day after he/she opts for the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign; or
    3. in the case mentioned in Clauses 6.1(c) below, after activation of the SIM Card in accordance with these Campaign T&Cs.

    5.3 Thereafter, for each succeeding months of the Campaign Period, Free Data and Voice Calls will be allocated to the Eligible Subscribers after expiry of each Service Validity Period. For clarity and avoidance of doubt, the allocation of Free Data and Voice Calls to the Eligible Subscribers during the last month of the Campaign Period will depend on the end date of the preceding month’s Service Validity Period, which shall not be later than 30th August 2022, in which case, Eligible Subscribers will continue to enjoy Free Data and Voice Calls for the succeeding Service Validity Period. However, if the Service Validity Period in the preceding month ends on any date beyond 30th August 2022, such Eligible Subscriber will not continue to enjoy any further Free Data and Voice Calls. For clarity and avoidance of doubt, please refer to the following examples:-
    Example 1.
    In the event an Eligible Subscriber’s Service Validity Period ends on 30th August 2022, he/she will continue to enjoy Free Data and Voice Calls for a period of thirty (30) days from 31st August 2022 until 29th September 2022 subject always that the Eligible Subscriber’s Prepaid account is active i.e the Account Validity Period has not expired.

    Example 2. In the event an Eligible Subscriber’s Service Validity Period ends on 31st August 2022, he/she will not be entitled to enjoy any further Free Data and Voice Calls.

    5.3 Please take note that any remaining data and voice calls from the Free Data and Voice Calls shall be automatically forfeited at the end of each Service Validity Period and shall not be carried forward to the succeeding Service Validity Period/(s).

  6. Campaign Mechanism
    6.1 An Eligible Subscriber intending to participate in the Learn From Home Free Phone Retention Campaign to enjoy the Free Data and Voice Calls shall comply with the following mechanism:-

    (a) Eligible Subscribers must be an active subscriber of the LFH Free Phone Plan. An active subscriber means a subscriber whose account is not barred, suspended or terminated.
    (b) Complete the online form on the LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign made available via https://ytlfoundation.org/learnfromhome-extension/ (“Online Form”) on or by 27th September 2021, 11:59 pm by providing the relevant information in the related fields and click on the tab “Submit”.
    (c) In the event an Eligible Subscriber intends to replace the existing SIM Card under the Learn From Home Free Phone Plan, he/she shall execute an additional step by ticking the check box which reads as “I need a New SIM” within the Online Form before clicking on the tab “Submit”. Upon receipt of the new SIM Card, such Eligible Subscriber shall activate the new SIM Card by log-in to MyYes app, go to Quick Access, press “Activate SIM” button and follow the self-activation steps on the screen.
    (d) Upon receipt of the new SIM Card under Clauses 6.1 (c), such Eligible Subscriber shall activate the SIM Card within a period of six (6) months from the date of issuance of SIM Card by YTLC failing which the SIM Card can no longer be activated and no replacement SIM Card will be provided.

  7. Limitation of Liability.
    YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign.
  8. Laws.
    This LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign shall in all respect be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
  9. Modifications.
    YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify any aspect of this LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party. Without prejudice to the aforesaid, YTLC reserves the right to cancel, terminate or suspend this LFH Free Phone Retention Campaign at any time before or during the Campaign Period with notice but without any liability or compensation whatsoever.
