KUALA LUMPUR, 29 OCTOBER 2026 – The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Yes, and Ryt Bank today announced a partnership aimed at bringing Malaysians closer to football and supporting the development of the national game. The partnership was formalised at an official signing ceremony.

Under the banner “Demi Bola Sepak Malaysia”, FAM, Yes and Ryt Bank will work together to celebrate the role football plays in uniting Malaysians across communities and generations, while creating new opportunities for supporters and aspiring players to engage with the sport.

The partnership will draw on capabilities across both brands, including Yes 5g advanced connectivity and Ryt Bank’s digital banking services. Together, these services are intended to make football experiences more accessible, connected, and rewarding, both on and off the pitch.

Yang Berbahagia Dato’ Ab Ghani bin Hassan, President of FAM, said: “Football is a source of national pride and a shared passion for Malaysians from every background. We welcome Yes and Ryt Bank as our Title Partners and look forward to working together to strengthen the football ecosystem, bring supporters closer to the national game and create more opportunities for emerging talent across our communities.”

Wing K. Lee, CEO of YTL Communications, said: “Every Malaysian has a football story, whether it began on a kampung padang or a futsal court in the city. That is what ‘Demi Bola Sepak Malaysia’ means to us: many backgrounds, one shared love of the game. Through Yes, we bring 5g advanced connectivity and AI closer to fans, helping them stay connected to the action wherever they are. With access to ILMUchat, Malaysia’s own AI, through the Yes AI Postpaid Plan, we also hope to help Malaysians learn and discover new possibilities, both on and off the pitch. We want to contribute more than sponsorship by supporting the communities and next generation of Malaysian football.”

Connecting supporters and supporting the next generation
Through Yes, supporters will be able to access partnership-related offers and experiences, with planned benefits including match tickets and limited-edition merchandise. Yes will also bring its 5g advanced capabilities to fan engagement and digital content initiatives. Details of offers, eligibility, and availability will be announced separately.

Ryt Bank will support the everyday social experiences surrounding football, from shared futsal sessions to gatherings with friends on match days, through simple digital payments and transfers. Supporters will also be able to access partnership-related offers like match tickets, limited-edition merch, and much more throughout the partnership period.

Wilson Soon, Interim CEO of Ryt Bank, said: “Whether it’s a game of futsal or gathering at a local mamak to watch football, the sport creates moments that bring people together. With Ryt AI, we make settling and sharing payments effortless, allowing football fans to focus on the experience rather than the transaction.”

A partnership for Malaysian football
Over the coming years, FAM, Yes, and Ryt Bank plan to develop initiatives across youth football, community participation, match-day experiences, and digital storytelling. “Demi Bola Sepak Malaysia” will also highlight emerging talent and the people helping shape the game across different ages, genders, and communities.

Further details of programmes and supporter benefits will be announced in due course. Follow our latest news on the partnership at yes.my/fam.
