- The Programme.
The Yes Network Test Drive (“Programme”) is a time-limited programme launched by YTL Communications Sdn Bhd (Company No.200701035605 (793634-V)) (“YTLC”) operating under the brand name “Yes”. By subscribing and using the Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan under this Programme, You acknowledge that You understand these Programme T&Cs (as defined below) and agree to abide by them.
The Programme is open to all Malaysian citizens or permanent residents who are:-
(i) 12 years of age and above and are in possession of a valid MyKad or MyPR or MyTentera, whichever is applicable;
(ii) not an existing Yes subscriber; and who possess Yes eSIM supported smartphone(s) (“Eligible Subscribers”).
(Please visit www.yes.my/e-sim to determine which of the smartphones can support the Yes eSIM.)
- Applicable Terms & Conditions:
Subject only to the variations as expressly set out herein (“Programme T&Cs”), all other terms and conditions incorporated in the Prepaid Service Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Data Add-On Terms and Conditions, Prepaid Hotspot Add-On Terms and Conditions and Yes First To 5G Campaign Terms and Conditions available at yes.my/tnc(collectively referred as “General Applicable Terms and Conditions”) shall remain valid and applicable to this Programme. In the event of any inconsistency between the General Applicable Terms and Conditions and these Programme T&Cs, these Programme T&Cs shall prevail to the extent of any such inconsistency. Words in capital not defined herein shall have the same meaning ascribed to in the General Applicable Terms and Conditions.
- Programme Period.
This Programme will commence on 2nd November 2023 and continue until further notice (“Programme Period”).
- Application for Yes Network Test Drive.
5.1 Application for the Programme may be made via www.yes.my.
5.2 Upon receipt of an application, YTLC will verify if the eligibility criteria in Clause 2 have been met and thereafter an email notification will be sent to inform the applicant if his/her application is successful or otherwise. If the application is successful, an email will be sent to the successful applicant at the registered email address provided in the application form.5.3 If an Individual receives Notification indicating him/her –
(a) to be an Eligible Subscriber, such Individual is required, within a period of three (3) days from the date of Notification, to complete his/her subscription of the related Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan and generate Yes eSIM barcode by clicking the link given following the steps provided and Yes eSIM barcode to be use for Yes eSIM activation via MyYes app, failing which YTLC will deem such Individual is no longer interested to subscribe to the Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan under the Programme; or
(b) not to be an Eligible Subscriber, he/she may continue to subscribe to any other Postpaid Service Plans or Prepaid Service Plans made available by YTLC, subject to the terms and conditions thereof. For more information on the Postpaid Service Plans and Prepaid Service Plans made available by YTLC for subscription, please refer to www.yes.my.
- The Service Offerings
6.1 The service offerings for Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan under the Programme are stated as below:i. Free One (1) prepaid Yes eSIM; (please refer to www.yes.my/e-sim on the type of supported device for Yes eSIM (“Yes SIM”); and
ii. Free Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan as stated below.

6.2 Each Eligible Subscriber is entitled to register one (1) Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan only under the Programme.
6.3 For a Yes eSIM supported device, please visit www.yes.my/e-sim for more information.
6.4 The Eligible Subscriber subscribing to the Yes Prepaid FT5G Plan is required to activate the prepaid Yes eSIM service through the MyYes app.
6.5 Once the Yes eSIM is activated, the Eligible Subscriber is required to download the Yes eSIM profile that allows the eSIM compatible smartphones to connect to the Yes network and be able to enjoy the Yes services (“Yes eSIM Profile”).
6.6 The Eligible Subscriber may enjoy the service offerings with uncapped 5G/4G speed (Internet speed will vary depending on whether the Eligible Subscriber is in 5G or 4G coverage).
6.7 After the Service Validity Period, the Eligible Subscriber may purchase the Prepaid Plan Data Add-On or Hotspot Add-On (as the case may be) as specified in the Prepaid Data Add-On Terms and Conditions or the Prepaid Hotspot Add-On Terms and Conditions (as applicable).Alternatively, Ythe Eligible Subscriber may also upgrade his/her plan via the MyYes app.
6.8 The unlimited voice call or SMS services are exclusive for the Eligible Subscriber’s personal person-to-person communications use in Malaysia only. Therefore, conference calling, re-supply, call centre usage, telemarketing, bulk messaging, application-to-person communication, continuous call forwarding, auto-dialling, machine-to-machine communication (including by using the Eligible Subscriber’s 5G SIM Card in any other devices), Cellular Trunking Units (CTUs), or any other activities are considered non-standard usage and is therefore prohibited.
6.9 In the event a Yes Subscriber commits a breach of the Programme T&Cs (“Defaulter”), YTLC reserves the right to throttle the Defaulter’s use of the Service to 256kbps without prior notice to the Defaulter. A Defaulter will need to subscribe to the “Unthrottle Me Data Add-On” via MyYes app to continue enjoying the Services at unthrottled speed.
- Charges & SST
7.1 Save as expressly provided herein, there will be no charges imposed on Eligible Subscriber use of domestic On-Net Services. However, the following charges will be imposed on Eligible Subscriber’s use of domestic Off-Net Services:

7.2 Charges will be imposed on Eligible Subscriber’s use of all IDD Service in accordance with the internet, voice calls and SMS rates published @www.yes.my/roaming.

7.4 The charges stated in this Clause 7 are exclusive of SST.
- Limitation of Liability.
YTLC shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including without limitation loss of use, loss of income, profits or goodwill, direct or indirect, incidental, consequential, exemplary, punitive or special damages of any party including third parties) howsoever arising whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise, in connection with this Programme.
This Programme shall in all respect be governed by the laws of Malaysia.
YTLC reserves the right to, at any time, add to, delete, vary or amend the terms and conditions herein or change or modify or terminate or suspend any aspect of this Programme, in whole or in part at any time and from time to time and at its sole discretion without notice and without liability to the Eligible Subscribers or any other party.
