Barcelona, February 2023 — Yes 5G by YTL Communications has been recognised as Malaysia’s Fastest Mobile Network following the latest Ookla Speedtest Awards™, further strengthening Yes’ position as a leading 5G service provider in the country.
The recognition was based on Ookla Speedtest Intelligence® data analysis for Q3–Q4 2022, where Yes achieved the highest speed score in Malaysia. The network recorded top download speeds of up to 569.09 Mbps and upload speeds of 65.58 Mbps, reflecting strong real-world performance across user experiences nationwide.
The Speedtest Awards™, presented by Ookla®, are considered an industry benchmark for network performance; evaluating operators based on millions of consumer-initiated speed tests, including download and upload performance as well as overall consistency.
